DISCLAIMER: this post is gonna be long. all who are long-post-a-phobic, pls look away.. NOW!
starting from day before. service.. super good, pastor mike connell came. preached a word about disappointment. anyone wanna listen just approach me. a lot of other cool stuff happening during the service too. again, just approach me for the details! lol..
ytd. CIP! hated it! first we had to move that huge track down. ok la, wasn't too bad, had quite alot to help. then we had to put the track in the middle of everything. like center of attraction, surrounded by HC stalls. i mean, it was like, we were being drowned by the HC ppl la. and with all due respect, their stalls where like, so shabby. can tell they put in close to zero effort. not being ego, but can see their effort, nothing comapred to ours during fun-o-rama. but i guess that's not the point. point being at least try to make the stalls more impressive la. the stalls so chapalang, the MP coming noe! at least try make it look decent la.. cans and hooks, balls and cardboard with holes, a spinning wheel, a table with tennis balls and a bamboo stick.. heck, i'll choose a team of ten and finish all that in less than 2 hours. try to put in more effort la, even last minute work, can try make it better rite. let's not take any offense here and take it as a lesson learnt pls.
so ok. we stoned whole day, noone came except for like 3-4 little boys who were at the stall the whole day. so me and a few others just went to slack till lunch. me and ZH just slacked, got pretty peeved at the shabby organisation of the fair.. only thing that was good probably was the lunch for the volunteers and the futsal and bball games. anyhow.. at 430, after a heart meal and a peeved feeling, we went down to pack up. got even more peeved when everyone left except us, leaving 4 of us to carry that track. called the organiser, nvr pick up. heck. we moved the thing. guess wad, trees blocking out way! we got even more pissed and i started to get really really touchy. really lost it when the security guards were stopping us and "trying" to "help " us..end of that, me and ZH were complaining all the way to the mrt.
to ulu pandan CC. i noe the planning is not easy. coordinating such large scale events never is. thing is, if u're gonna do it, try to make it better la. come on, u're a CC, supposed to represent a community. if ur even looks so shabby, doesn't reflect well on the community now does it. i won't say i can do any better, maybe i can, maybe i can't. but lesson learnt, if u wanna do smth, do

today. went pool with SB3 pae ppl (me zh jan ian samson zj bev val matt hamka). everyone was late. as expected. including me actually.. good thing i said 1230. if not we'd all be there at like 2! lol.. went sumo house eat then surprise ian with a hyper belated b'day and a BAG!!!!!! WOOTX! followed by pool. TODAY'S not my day.. only won when ZH accidentally sunk the black. we got bored of it after a while. lesson learnt, DO NOT GO POOL WITH PPL WHO DUN LIKE TO PLAY POOL! next time pao should organise when she asked for it la! lol.. had a great time.. zh and matt then left us for home.. then went island creamery! ate 3 tubs of ice cream shared.. was super full after that (proclaimed by my hyper loud and long burp!).. but it was damn good and worth it.. the berry one needs to be more berryful though! lol.. then hamka left.. (all the best for ur comp tml dude!) went ian's house next, played WII and guitar and random stuff la.. then the rest went eat while me and jan went home.. great day!
rmbr ur promise jan! on the car ride home heard this guy talking about his christian walk, super cool la. eng not very good (maybe cos he's NCC's hokkien service pastor). but super inspiring. details just ask jan! reached home, for some reason could super connect with my mum.. we chatted damn happily la! haha! MOTHER+ME=ROCKS! thank God for my mum..
so that's that, i'm off moaning about scl tml!
